My name is Sara, and I'm the heart behind this little daycare here in Benbrook. My journey to opening this space has been years in the making, and I’m so excited to finally welcome your family into it.

My husband and I bought our home in Benbrook in 2021 after spending three years stationed in Virginia during his time in the Navy. He recently transitioned out of the military, and in April, we welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world. Becoming a mom has deepened my passion for working with children and creating a space that nurtures their growth and development.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology. Throughout college, I worked as a babysitter and nanny, which gave me hands-on experience with children of all ages. My background also includes training in trauma therapy, which has given me deep insight into how children process emotions and how we, as caregivers, can support healthy emotional development.

I'm a strong believer in the work of Daniel J. Siegel and Mary Hartzell, particularly their research on integrating the emotional and logical parts of the brain in early childhood. Their approach deeply influences how I work with children—fostering emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience.

One of the reasons I’m drawn to the Montessori method is because it allows me to act more as a guide than a traditional teacher. I believe children learn best when they’re given the freedom to explore at their own pace, with gentle guidance and encouragement. My goal is to create a calm, respectful, and stimulating environment where your child feels safe, confident, and truly seen.

This daycare is not just a business—it's a passion project rooted in love, education, and the desire to support families in our community. I look forward to meeting you and your little one!
